The Project Open Hand chefs start at 6:00 am to prepare the main course for today's regular meal. In addition, special meals will be prepared for clients with special dietary needs. Our goal is to encourage people to eat a well balanced diet in order to maintain their health. In addition to the regular meals, we also cook dinners that are vegetarian, low-salt, bland, low fat. Every morning we run the day's menu through a computer that tells us how many special meals must be prepared that day.
