Join us for a tour of Project Open Hand. We'd like to take you around and show you what a typical day is like here at Project Open Hand.Each day, early in the morning, our chefs start work in the kitchen preparing that day's meals. By 9:00 AM they're joined by volunteers who are soon busy chopping, slicing, dicing and pitching in wherever there's a need. We all want to make sure the meals are ready to go when volunteers arrive to start the afternoon meal delivery.
At the same time, staff and volunteers are hard at work in the Grocery Center, stocking the shelves, helping clients fill out shopping lists and filling bags full of nutritious groceries.
