We Need Teams! - Involve Your Company!
The Adopt-A-Route, Adopt-A-Shift program is one of the most logical ways for your business to get involved. You and your coworkers can "adopt" a delivery route or a shift at one of the Grocery Centers or in the kitchen. Just get a core group of eight to ten people together, elect a group a leader and pick a day to help. In the end, each person will spend about four hours a month volunteering.
Wells Fargo and Charles Schwab are just a few of the companies involved in the Adopt-A-Route, Adopt-A-Shift program. Get your company involved today!
Commitment
We ask that when you volunteer at Project Open Hand, you make a six month commitment. We also ask that you always maintain confidentially and display non-judgmental behavior when interacting with clients and other volunteers. We also ask that you have a current tuberculosis screening. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact call our volunteer hotline at (415) 447-2404 or email our Director of Volunteer Services.
