Third Annual People Paddle for AIDS
South Beach Harbor,
Pier 40 at Embarcadero

Kayak on the bay to help Project Open Hand and to fight against AIDS. Up to 200 paddlers will launch from the South Beach Marina at Pier 40 and the Embarcadero in San Francisco at 10:30 a.m. and paddle to a turn in Mc Covey Cove for a big “raft up” photo opportunity, then paddle back to South Beach Pier 40 at 12:30 p.m. The festivities continue from noon-5 p.m. with a large, free festival at South Beach Harbor complete with an awards ceremony, live music, and corporate booths.
