Project Open Hand receives partial support for services to people with HIV/AIDS from federal Ryan White Act funds through the public health departments of both San Francisco and Alameda County. Meals for senior citizens are funded by the Department of Aging and Adult Services in both San Francisco and Alameda County, the U.S. Deparment of Agriculture, senior contributions, and Project Open Hand.
