Position Summary
The Porter I On-Call position will either work an AM or a PM shift as dictated by the available position. The Porter I will work primarily collecting and washing cooking equipment and busing and washing plates, cups and silverware. The secondary function of the position is to complete specific tasks as assigned from the kitchen’s master cleaning list.
Qualifications Required
- Successful experience working in a commercial or industrial kitchen as a member of a team
- Training, understanding and experience with HACCP procedures
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English to facilitate communications in the kitchen
Qualifications Desired
- HACCP certification
