Please review our guidelines before signing up for a shift.
- Minimum Age Requirement: 15 years old (to volunteer alone)
- Health Guidelines: Check your health prior to your scheduled shift. If you feel sick, please stay home.
- Face Masks: only required during direct contact to clients and while providing services.
- Food Safety: Thoroughly wash and sanitize hands, wear protective gear (hairnet, beard guard, and gloves) and follow instructions given by staff.

Deliver Meals
Volunteers assist with packing out and delivering meals to homebound clients in San Francisco using their personal vehicle. The volunteer driver must be a fully licensed and insured in the state of California and have a safe and registered vehicle in good working order.
Serve Meals
Volunteer tasks include plating food in the kitchen, serving clients their meals, and maintaining the cleanliness of the meal site.
Prepare & Package Meals
Help us with meal assembly, packaging and meal preparation in our kitchen; and help sort and pack food in our warehouse.
Off-Site Volunteer Opportunities
Host a Toiletry Drive
Help provide essential items that are often financially out of reach to our low income, chronically ill clients. We accept new, unopened items such as shampoo, body wash, and deodorant. Learn more here.
