Thanks to the Generosity of the HEDCO Foundation, we were able to purchase a new combi oven that will help kitchen staff keep up with increasing demands for medically tailored nutrition.
Taking up just 10 square feet of space, the combi oven will replace conventional cooking appliances. It’s easy to use, self-cleaning and saves up to 70 percent in energy compared to a traditional kitchen without a combi oven. A combi oven combines steaming with convection heat, reducing cooking times by half and retaining moisture and providing a better quality product for our clients.
“My cooks can’t thank HEDCO Foundation enough. We’ve been waiting for something to improve the quality of the food we’re cooking as well as increase our production output during this time of increased needs. We appreciate what they have done for us,” Executive Chef Adrian Barrow said.
