September 30, 2021September 30, 2021 (All day)
What started out in Oakland is now expanding to the East Bay! On September 30th, join us for Dining Out For Life East Bay, our annual foodie event when participating restaurants and diners – like you – can Dine Out to support HIV/AIDS services.
Dining Out For Life is an annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, community supporters, corporate sponsors and local restaurants. More than 3,000 restaurants nation-wide donate a portion of their proceeds from one special day of dining to the licensed HIV/AIDS service agency in their city.
Project Open Hand is the designated HIV/AIDS service agency beneficiary of Dining Out For Life in the East Bay. During this special day, restaurants participate by sponsoring Project Open Hand with a donation from one designated day of dining sales.
This year we have expanded Dining Out For Life to restaurants in Fremont, Alameda, Emeryville and Berkeley, as well as, Oakland, the city where it all started three years ago. We hope you will consider joining us for this special day that will connect your restaurant to this unique annual event aimed at ending HIV in the East Bay.
Please visit our Dining Out for Life East Bay website to stay updated on all things #DOFLEastBay!
If you are an owner or a manager of a restaurant and would like to see how you can participate in this important day, email [email protected] or fill out our restaurant commitment form and a Project Open Hand team member will be in touch.
