On September 29th, join us for Dining Out For Life East Bay, our annual foodie event when participating restaurants and diners – like you – can Dine Out to support HIV/AIDS services.
Dining Out For Life is an annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, community supporters, corporate sponsors and local restaurants. More than 3,000 restaurants nation-wide donate a portion of their proceeds from one special day of dining to the licensed HIV/AIDS service agency in their city.
Project Open Hand is the designated HIV/AIDS service agency beneficiary of Dining Out For Life in the East Bay. During this special day, restaurants participate by sponsoring Project Open Hand with a donation from one designated day of dining sales.

Last year, 23 restaurants across Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, and Alameda participated in this event. We hope you will consider joining us for this special day that will connect your restaurant to this unique annual event aimed at ending HIV in the East Bay.
If you are an owner or a manager of a restaurant and would like to see how you can participate in this important day, email [email protected] or fill out our restaurant commitment form and a Project Open Hand team member will be in touch.
