March 4, 2021 - 6:00amOn Thursday, March 4 at 6pm, join us virtually for the "Ruth Brinker Book Celebration," a free, special event to to celebrate Ruth Brinker’s legacy over the past 35 years, with highlights from our newly published limited-edition book, “Open Hearts.”
This elegant 10” x 10” hardbound keepsake coffee table book and cookbook was designed by John Miller, opening with an extensive biographical tribute to Ruth Brinker by food and culture writer Sean Elder, followed by 15 celebrity chef and celebrity recipes, curated by Chef David Verzello.
This digital gathering will include a welcome by our CEO Paul Hepfer, a spotlight on the 15 celebrity-chef recipes featured in the book by Chef David Verzello, a discussion by Open Hearts Author Sean Elder and former POH Executive Director Tom Nolan, and an appearance by Chef Adrian Barrow who will discuss the secret sauce to our success.
Contributing chefs include Mark Allison, Open Hand chef Adrian Barrow, Marjorie Brewster, Cat Cora, Traci des Jardins, David Diaz, Salvatore Ferragamo & Andrea Campani, Janet Fletcher, Judy Witts Francini, Shelley Lindgren, Charles Phan, David Verzello, author Sara Gruen, actor Christopher Lloyd and his wife Lisa Lloyd, and actress and author Leslie Zemeckis.
